Laura is also a keen photographer in her spare time when she isn't baking. She loves exploring the island, watching the wildlife that lives there and capturing the moment to share with others.

Laura describes one of her recent encounters..."By far my favourite encounter has to be with an Otter in the glorious summer sunshine. After spending quite some time watching this little creature fishing, he decided to come ashore not far from where I was sat and curled up to go to sleep. The heat of the sun was quite something for Mull! Every 15 minutes or so, he would wake up, dip himself in the Loch, return to the shore, dry off and return to sleep. It was as though he was cooling himself down in the pool before returning to the sun lounger! It is capturing moments like these knowing that the wildlife has been completely undisturbed that make them so special."
