HOBBIES: When she's not baking and experimenting in the kitchen, Laura loves getting her walking boots on, grabbing her camera, wrapping up warm and exploring the island before returning home to enjoy a nice glass of wine and reading a good book.
OUR STORY
Laura has loved baking for as long as she can remember and has fond memories of baking with her Mum and Grandma (after shopping for ingredients with Grandpa!).
After graduating in 2010, Laura spent 8 years working in Financial Services until 2018 when she decided it was time for a new challenge and a change - what better than something she had always loved. Having visited the Isle of Mull for over 20 years on holiday, and being a regular Coffee Pot visitor (from the other side of the counter since the age of 11!!) this seemed like the perfect opportunity.

On 7th September 2018, Laura began a new career and bought The Coffee Pot, which had been a part of the village of Salen for over 25 years and a new adventure had begun.
​
Laura is passionate about her home baking with all cakes homemade on site from scratch. There is always something new at The Coffee Pot as Laura loves to experiment with new flavours and recipes. You'll be greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome from Laura and The Coffee Pot team.
